The Falkland Event ...

A Breif History

The event started its life as "Freuchie Frolics". This was started by Liz Melville, as a fun day for local drivers and the event proved popular for the two years it was run. It consisted of mainly a chance to have a go at obstacles and gain experience as well as a place to meet friend but most importantly to have fun!! To read the complete history click here.

The Event Committee

The Falkland Event Committee is made up of local driving enthusiasts, all located within a 10 mile radius of the event location. Most of the committee members have been associated with carriage driving for a great number of years, and many compete regularly on the Scottish circuit. The Event Location

The Event is set in the beautiful agricultural centre of fife, know as the Howe of Fife. It is widely recognised as an area of natural beauty flanked on the south side by the Lomond hills. More information can be found on the location of the event here.

Directions to the Event

As event competitors ourselves we all know how stressful it can be to find the way of an event, especially if it is our first visit, so we have provide you with a very detailed directions section which guides competitors from North, South, East or west to the showground.
