Welcome to the Falkland Event Website...

The Falkland Event is fast becoming one of the most talked about events on the Scottish circuit, with its demanding but ultimately spectacular marathon phase, its beautiful location in the Howe of Fife and its mixed and varied weather!  In 2005 the event had one of, if not, its largest entry to date, we hope that this trend continues into 2008 and beyond.

2007 proved to be yet another spectacular event but the year ended on a sad note with the death of the event founder Liz Melville, the event will continue to run and a new trophy for the most improved driver every season has be presented by the Melville family.

The committee are always looking for ways to improve the competitors experience and if you have any suggestions please feel free to send them to us. Work will start for the preparation of the event in early spring when the proposed marathon route will be inspected for damage sustained over the winter. Shortly after the routine of prayer will begin to the gods in an effort to try and secure fine weather for the weekend of the competition!! It is sure to be one not to miss, so make a note of the date in your diary.

Feel free to explore the website, If you have any questions please feel free to contact us, you will find details in the contact section.
